My name is Scott and I’m an affiliate marketer. I have an SEO company where I get companies products to the top of search engines. I do this for large companies and for small companies. To clarify a large company would be Amazon. Amazon is the largest marketplace online. They make over $1000 per second and sell everything under the sun. They started with books now they have virtually everything. They sell physical products, things you can actually touch. They have anything from hot tubs, to books, to video games, etc. Another marketplace that sells products is Clickbank but they sell information products. Amazon is much much larger. Amazon makes more money than any online company even more than Google!! Amazon is number 1 and Google is number 2.
Amazon initally began selling books but then they exanded to everything. If your an affiliate marketer and are not in the Amazon marketplace then your missing out big time! It’s the largest and most limitless opportunity online. Of course the Internet is the largest but Amazon is more of a niche in the Internet. When selling Amazon products your cookies are tracked, meaning if a person goes to Amazon within a certain period of time ie: 30 days later and makes a purchase, then you still get the commission. Also if they go through your affiliate link and buy anything, even if it’s completely unrelated to what they initially went there for and purchase ANYTHING you still get the commission. The commission breakdown varies but it’s around 7% of the sale. When selling information products (Clickbank) it’s more like 50% of the sale.
I also do adsense and CPA marketing as well. This is where people don’t have to buy anything and you make a comission. With CPA also known as cost per action is where all they have to do is perform an action like enter their zip code or their name or email and you will make a cut. Ad sense is when people click on the ads you have on the site.
